My love for cooking began in my grandmother’s Louisiana kitchen. She was a true southern cook — the kind who could turn fried chicken, gumbo, étouffée, or meatloaf into pure comfort on a plate. Every dish she made was full of flavor, heart, and love.
I grew up learning those recipes, and later I served them on my own Cajun food truck. Dosha Identification & Personalized Meal Plan Guidance
Ayurveda teaches us that true health begins with balance — and balance begins with understanding your Prakriti.
Your Prakriti is your personal constitution — the unique combination of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha that makes up your body and mind. Everyone carries all three Doshas, but in different amounts. Some may naturally have more Kapha’s steadiness, more Pitta’s fire, or more Vata’s movement. When these energies slip out of balance, symptoms and illness can begin.
In this one-on-one session, we’ll uncover your Prakriti and identify where imbalance may be showing up. Then, we’ll create a personalized meal plan designed to bring your system back into harmony. Ayurveda teaches that opposites bring balance: if Kapha (earth + water) is heavy, we lighten it with air and fire qualities through food. If Pitta is overheated, we cool it with soothing, grounding foods. By making small, intentional choices in what you eat, you can shift digestion, mood, energy, and overall vitality.
